JMRCA TC Championship 2023 – Stats

A year ago I did a post with info on what cars were used at last years JMRCA All Japan TC Championship, and many of you seemed to find this information interesting.

Since the Japanese racers and JMRCA have provided this information on what equipment was used this year as well, I have again gathered it all to provide even more extensive statistics from this year’s JMRCA All Japan TC Championship, which you can also read more about in a previous post.

First up, overall statistics of the cars used in all three classes – Super Expert (modified), Open (17.5t boosted) and Sports (21.5t). In total 13 different car brands.

Cars used in the top (mod) class.

More variation in the Open class, but this was also the biggest class with most entries.

The sports class is the most “amateur” class.

Transmitter statistics totally dominated by the three large Japanese manufacturers.

…While there is a bit more variation in servos used.

Hobbywing is super dominant with a large majority in all classes, but especially the stock classes.

A similar story with motors, although there is more variation here.

Many different batteries used.
