Bittydesign Hyper TC Body
About one month ago, Bittydesign finally released their answer to the low-CG, high-DF development of the touring car body scene – the Hyper 1/10 TC 190mm body.
While similar to it’s classmates in overall profile, it looked to be a very detailed body, which is why I wanted to take a closer look.
The Bittydesign Hyper is available in two versions so far:
- Hyper Light weight (85gr)
- Hyper Ultra Lite (67-70gr)
The one you see here is the Light weight version, and painted as you see here, it weighs exactly 85g.
Below you see 8 images of the Bittydesign Hyper which will hopefully give you a good look at the body. I will summarise my thoughts so far after the last image.
Already in it’s unpainted form, you can clearly see that this is not just a clone of other successful bodies. It does have the same low stance and cab-forward, as well as overall cabin design pioneered by ZooRacing, but at the same time there are lots of details that set it apart.
I have to say that recently I really think Bittydesign is the body company that’s setting the standard when it comes to details, look, finish, marketing, and also quality. Again this is evident with the Hyper, and it really goes for everything – from the window mask and (pre-cut) sticker quality, the design of the all the decals, the body lines and details, the included hardware and so on. They really produce impressive products today.
Of course, in the end what counts for most drivers is whether it performs, and for that I have no answer yet.
It’s however definitely the TC body I like the most today, so I hope it performs as well as it looks 🙂

it performs like it looks
Sounds good! Will get to try it very soon.
I’ve done a test run last saterday and the corner speed was impressive, my car was very planted and easy to drive. Between the Dogsbollox, Turismo and Hyper this is absolutely the fastest body i’ve been running.
